I spent most of the weekend with the a dear friend,

Upon learning of my accident, Kuok Tim decided to be the REALLY nice guy that he is, and borrowed a company car for the weekend - with the main intention of driving me around. What a legend! I can't praise God enough for friends like him - God Bless you brother.

He drove me to work and back on Friday. He came over on Saturday and we went out for lunch. He then ran me to church for a performance, and we went out for dinner with Lynn. On Sunday, he picked me up for church and waited around while I attended rehearsal, and then we went for dinner with Lynn again.

Before I forget, I must rave about the food I ate this weekend.

Friday - dinner - Raffles Restaurant (work)

Medallions of beef flavoured with aromatic lemon grass, mild chilli, and coconut milk - served with rice, okra, purple cabbage, and kuruma.

Saturday - lunch - TGI Fridays

Jack Daniel's Wings [Starter]
Tender, juicy chicken wings, coated in Jack Daniel's sweet 'n' smoky glaze.

Jack Daniel's Baby Back Ribs [Main]
Half rack of succulent pork ribs, marinated, chargrilled and covered in Jack Daniel's sweet 'n' smoky glaze - served with Cajun onion rings and cheesy mash.

Jack Daniel's Shrimp [Side]
Plump tiger shrimps, Cajun battered - ready for dippin' in Jack Daniel's sweet 'n' smoky glaze.

Bottomless Pepsi.

Saturday - dinner - Thai Spice

Rad Na Talay
Wide thai noodles in gravy with seafood & mixed vegetables.

Gai
Barbecued chicken covered in sweet chilli sauce with sticky rice.

Ginger Ale.

Sunday - dinner - Frankie & Benny's

Frankie's Fried Calamari [Starter - shared]
Crisp fried calamari in garlic and herb flavoured coating and sprinkled with Italian cheese - served with warm Neapolitan sauce.

BBQ Ribs [Main]
A full rack of pork baby back ribs smothered with BBQ sauce - served with coleslaw, corn on the cob and cheesy mash.

Brownie Sundae [Dessert - shared]
Sticky chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream, marshmallows, chocolate malt balls, and whipped cream. Topped with chocolate sauce.

Archers, Blue Curacao, Pineapple & Orange Juice floated on ice.

Needless to say, it has been a SINFUL weekend food-wise, but none of it would have been possible without Kuok Tim. I don't say it enough, but you're a blessing to me. The great weekend was exactly what I needed.

Someone please tell my parents to expect me to come home with an extra 20kg put on. 17 of which will have been from this weekend. =)
